about us

A. G. Prada has a long, proud history of serving commercial, industrial, municipal and other customers in the Greater Washington Metropolitan area, dating back to the founding of the company.

The company was established by Arnold G. Prada in 1955. The operation of the business was passed along to his son, Arnold J. Prada, who took the reins after 1978 and through years of dedicated service to his customers helped turn A. G. Prada Company into one of the area's leading HVAC companies. Patrick Prada, son of the younger Arnold, continues the family tradition to this day, operating and managing the business according to the values and conventions set down by his father and grandfather – commitment to customer service, fair pricing, and going the extra mile to provide customers with full-service solutions for all of their HVAC issues.

A. G. Prada Company is a union contractor associated with Steamfitters Local Union 602, and proudly holds a number of other professional affiliations, including:

  • Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA)

  • Mechanical Contractors Association of Metropolitan Washington (MCAMW)

  • Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA)

  • Maryland AGC (Maryland Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America)
